Obituary For Ronald J. Lotz

Ronald J. Lotz, age 87, formerly of Mt Oliver, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Vincentian Home - North Hills, PA. He was born in Pittsburgh on January 1, 1938.

Ronald was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Harriet (Lejeune) Lotz. He was an Eagle Scout, graduated from St. Joseph High School, Mt Oliver, and he attended the University of Pittsburgh. Ronald served three years in the U.S. Navy, he worked for 29 years for AT&T then taking an early retirement. Ronald was a member of the Mellon Volunteer Program and a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Society and the St Paul Monastery retreat league. Ronald enjoyed listening to classical music and working in his garden. He is survived by his brother David (Carol) Lotz and his sister Susan (John) Lanasa, nieces Melissa and Lauren and nephews Mark and Neil and their spouses and twelve great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday May 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of blessing service at 11:00 a.m.
