Obituary For Ronald James Hough, II

Age 61, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, of Overbrook/Brookline.

Beloved husband of 26 years to Rachel (Chester) Hough; loving father of Ronald James (Elizabeth) Hough III, Richard Davis (Mollie) Hough and Ryan Michael Hough; cherished Poppy of Ronald "James" IV, Olivia, Nathan, Joseph, Alaura, Haylea and Harleen; son of the late Ronald J. "Rocky" and Sara B. (Persinger) Hough; brother of Kelly Lynne Bolek. Also survived by many nieces and nephews he adored. Ronald was an active member of the FOP for 26 years, he served in the US Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was the lead singer of his band, loved playing guitar by the campfire with family and friends, and sang the national anthem countless times for events. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, loved being with his "police family", and most of all loved watching his sons and grandkids play sports. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Brain Injury Foundation of PA www.biapa.org or the Alzheimer's/Dementia Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E. Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
