Obituary For Rosanna (Romano) Bonomi

Age 76, on Sunday, July 7, 2024, of Whitehall Borough.

Beloved wife of 55 years to Melvin J. Bonomi; loving mother of Mark (Nicole) Bonomi, Kevin (Heather) Bonomi and Nicole (Lou) Wittman; cherished grandmother of Chris, Nick, Vivian and Everett; daughter of the late Dominic A. Romano and Ella Mongillo Romano; sister of John (Carole) Romano. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to The Heart Institute of UPMC, c/o 200 Lothrop Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 or Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.

    Our hearts are broken. I will miss our long conversations and many weekend visit just laughing and sharing stories of a few years ago. Had so much fun raising our children together. Always said, although cousins, we were sisters to each other. Love and miss you Rosanna. RIP with the Lord you loved.

    Mel and family...Bill and I are so saddened to learn of Rosanna's passing! Remembering our Zion women's retreats together! Bunking together, along with maybe 6 in a room, being silly and giddy and having good conversation. She was a lovely person and fun to be with! Our deepest sympathy to the Bonomi family!
