Obituary For Russell Linn

June 26, 1955 - June 9, 2018

Linn, Russell Age 62, on Saturday, June 9, 2018, of Whitehall, formerly of Rankin, PA.

Beloved husband of 40 years to Judy (Goertler) Linn; loving father of Jennifer Linn and Stephen (Jessie) Linn; proud grandpap of Greyson Linn; son of Dorothy (Stretavski) and the late Carl L. Linn; brother of Kurt (Janet) Linn and the late Deborah Stankey and Stephen Linn; half-brother of Carole (Oliver) Strauss; also survived by close cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and dear friends. Russell retired after 30 years as a locomotive engineer for Union Railroad and as a scientist for Westinghouse Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory for 25 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday 6 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
