Obituary For Ruth K. Morgan

Age 94, of Brentwood, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Wife of 54 years to the late John J. Morgan; beloved mother of Glenn Morgan and Lynn Ann Patch; mother-in-law of Jan Morgan and Kevin Patch; loving grandmother of Christina Morgan (Bryan Brown) and Kevin (Theresa) Patch; great-grandmother of Kathleen Patch and Johnathan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Ruth was a faithful member of the Brentwood Christian Church, an avid reader and enjoyed walking. Her longtime friends meant a lot to her, and she loved them all. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 3-8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

    Lynn, Glenn and family, My sincere condolences to all of you. I have so many beautiful memories of your mom! Her and my mom were two beautiful souls! I loved watching them together! Your mom would come out her back door into our house, sit at the kitchen table drinking their tea, giggling and laughing the whole time! What a beautiful friendship they had! Now they are together again! Keeping you all in my prayers. May her memory be Eternal. 🙏🏻❤️
