The service today was beautiful and honorable. I could see the amount of love and devotion that went into each speech, video memory, and photograph that was selected to capture the essence that was Mimi. I loved Aunt Diana's words that Mimi would speak her mind, she always did. You (me) couldn't even be upset by the truth. My last memory with Mimi was a lively phone call filled with laughter about moth balls left in the condo in Stuart. Her neighbors had a field day, and so did she. I loved her sense of humor so much that day. I won't talk about the chili dinners we made together in my young adult years. Thank you to the Hospice Chaplin for recognizing Mimi's ability to enjoy her surroundings wherever she went. This is what made my grandmother special. Blessings to all of you. - Sarah Middleton
