Obituary For Samuel Dominic Paladino

Of Whitehall formerly of Moon Township, in his 82nd year went to be with God and his loved ones on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel J. and Mary (Vennare) Paladino and his beloved wife Vicki (Nash) Paladino. He is survived by his loving wife Judy Ellgass; his children, Alicia (Brian) and Sam (Amanda); his joyful grandchildren, Ryan, Emma and Lexi; his sisters Rose (the late Jake) Fillipih and Joan (Decio) Rapali; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. The Ellgass, O’Malley and Frankwitt families made Sam part of their family as well and will miss him dearly.
Sam was a member of the United States Air Force, serving his country in Guam. He was extremely proud of his service to his country. He belonged to the VFW in Coraopolis, PA and he and Judy went to the veterans breakfasts all over the city, meeting and talking to other veterans; something he enjoyed very much.
Sam was a wonderful father and grandfather and a devoted husband. When his loving wife Vicki passed, he continued to find joy in life with Judy. They lived many wonderful moments and adventures together. Sam was retired from TWA airlines and the Marriott hotel. He was a hard worker, all of his life, a devoted family man and a devoted friend to all. He was always happy and smiling. Although he will be missed dearly every day, he is now at peace. Arrangements were handled privately by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.

I worked with Sam and Fred at the Hotel and at Costco . We had a great time at each job . I think that because Sam was such fun to work with . We also enjoyed having breakfast with each other. Sorry for your loss .
