Obituary For Sara "Sally" Sullivan

Sara J. "Sally" (Shipley) Sullivan, age 86, of Dormont, formerly of Brentwood, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Friday, January 16, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Larry Sullivan. Loving mother of Scott (Suzanne) Sullivan, Cortney (Jeffry) Custer, and David (Anna) Scherb. Nanny-Sally to Jane-Claire Sullivan. Yia-Yia to Frankie and Danny Custer. Grandmother to Laura Scherb (Colin Hanner), Julia Scherb (Brandon Smith), Guy (Elizabeth) Scherb. Great-Grandmother of Naomi Scherb. Sister-in-law of Donna Guzzi. Sally was a 1961 graduate of Montifiore School of Nursing. Per Sally's request, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Animal Lifeline PGH.

    Sally was my favorite cousin! She, my sister Rowene and I had great fun growing up in Woodville. She was a very sweet and caring person!
