Obituary For Sean Knapp "Whopper" Thomas

May 3, 1974 - July 20, 2015

Thomas, Sean Knapp, "Whopper", age 41, unexpected after undergoing a kidney transplant, on Monday, July 20, 2015 of Bethel Park. Beloved son of Nancy J. (White) Thomas and the late Ivor L.; loving brother of Ivor L. "Lyn" Thomas II; nephew of Barbara Klein. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Sean was a lover of singing Karaoke no matter where. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday from 6-8 and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church at which time his funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to First Lutheran Church, 615 Grant St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 or an animal related charity of one's choice.

    I only met "Whopper" once - on the night of my bachelor party. It was at Level 20 back in 2011. He sang karaoke with us all night... and was a really nice guy - and a great karaoke singer! I've got a photo with him. If any family or friends would like it - feel free to e-mail me.

    Lyn & Mrs. T.... My heart goes out to both of you at this time. I will always remember Sean as being happy and making everyone laugh! I am so glad I had the pleasure of knowing him. Praying for you both at this time.
