Obituary For Shirley J. (Critchfield) Colarossi

Born May 5, 1935 to Mary and James Critchfield in Pittsburgh, PA. She departed this life on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Woodland Park in Orbisonia, PA.

Shirley lived most of her life as a resident of Brentwood/Baldwin. She was the beloved wife of Richard C. Colarossi, of 67 years. She was a devoted mother to her children, Richard J. (Susan), Ronald A. (Karen), Carol M. (John) and Steven S. (Christine). A loving Grandmother to Stephanie (Garrett), Alison (Robert), Jessica, Jennifer, Matthew (Kayla), Blythe (Eric), Chad (Amber), Kurt (Veronica), Brad (Haylee), Jason, Briana, Jacob, Emma and Great Grandmother to Natalie, Maddox, Lony, Gianna, Gavin, Levi, Trestyn, Talen, Ayden, Leah and Cosmo. A dear sister to James Critchfield. Shirley was a devoted member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, Pa. She enjoyed many years of employment with Dollar Bank, teaching Sunday school, playing the piano, rides through the countryside and making a home for her family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until her service of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
