Obituary For Stephanie (Steiner) Javorski

Age 68, of Brentwood, passed away at home with her husband by her side, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, after a battle with frontotemporal dementia. Stephanie was born November 18, 1954, to the late Stephen Steiner and the late Alice (Turowski) Steiner.
Stephanie is survived by her devoted husband Timothy Javorski, her loving daughter Christine (Tom) Carroll, and her beloved granddaughter, Aubrey Carroll. She was the much-loved sister of Gail (Jerry) Abbott, Mitch (Kim) Steiner, and the late Alice Ann Steiner and loving sister-in-law of Ken Javorski, the late Michael (Dorothy) Javorski, Judy Javorski, Polly (Sheri Putnam) Javorski, Nancy (Jim) Gilbert and Dave (Amy) Javorski. And the fun-loving aunt of Stephen Steiner, Megan (Ryan) Gartley, Sarah (Wayne) Cool, and Nathaniel Javorski. She is also survived by many loving friends.
Later in life, Stephanie proudly earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Robert Morris University. As an accomplished businesswoman, Stephanie retired in 2020 from Koppers Inc. as the Director of Sales and Global Marketing Development. Stephanie was lucky enough to build life-long friendships with many Koppers, Inc. colleagues. While Stephanie took great pride in her role at work, her greatest accomplishments and joy were found at home with her family. Her beloved husband was the center of her universe, and she was his. She was her daughter’s biggest supporter, and she loved her granddaughter more than she ever imagined possible. And it goes without saying that her bond with her twin sister went unmatched until the very end. Stephanie enjoyed vacationing, crafting, cooking Christmas dinners, and attending theater performances with her lady friends. She was strong-willed, generous, loyal, and smart. She will be missed dearly.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. A blessing service will be held on Sunday evening at 7:45 p.m. Interment will be held privately.

I knew Stephanie through work at Koppers. She was always such a joy to be around. Her sense of humor and kindness was something I looked forward to when involved with any projects with her. I remember one meeting with her in Pgh. (I am from out of town) - when she actually walked me to my car because she knew I would be lost! My deepest condolences to the family.
