Obituary For Stephen "Big Steve" Feltovich

Stephen Robert Feltovich "Big Steve" of Brentwood, age 44, set sail on Monday, April 13, 2026, making a final right turn to Tortuga.

Beloved and devoted son of Mary and the late John P. Feltovich; nephew of Robert Smith, Rose Marie (David Frank) Smith and Beverly (Gerard Dauginikas) Smith. He leaves behind his cousins, Ashley, Farrell, Reid, Evanee, Malarie, Brennon, Emalee and Aubrie; uncle of Chasen, Cameron, Capria, Charlie, Bricaul, Thunder and Isla Rose.

Stephen known to many as “Big Steve” has wrote his final chapter on earth. He was a great son, friend and a helluva sales person. Always looking for a challenge even to the end. His unforgettable personality, pranks ideas, and true thoughtfulness that many took as over the top was Stephen’s character, one we all appreciated and loved. If you had the opportunity to spend time with Stephen you know what we mean. The family has asked you to join them in the final voyage on earth to share some fond memories and commemorate his boat life and friendship. Keep boating and selling my friend and may that body finally be at peace buddy!

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m.

I'm so sorry to hear about your passing. The world has truly lost a good person. I hold so many memories of you close to my heart. From camp, to boating, to the many nights that we spent at the drive ins. You were always the one to show up with flowers when I had a bad day or a humidifier and Netti when I was sick. I'm so glad that you still wanted to be my friend after I dropped the powdered sugar covered funnel cake in your freshly cleaned car <3 Rest easy buddy. - Maria (Scoun)

Big Steve wasn't just part of Diesel nightclub—he was the place. For years, he ran it like a pro, kept everything in line, and somehow made it all look easy. More than that, he always had my back. No matter what was going on, I knew Steve was looking out for me. So many great memories—late nights, packed rooms, and that steady presence you could always count on. He took pride in what he did and in the people around him. They don't make many like Steve. Grateful for the years, the laughs, and the loyalty. Rest easy, my friend. You won't be forgotten.

So sad Stephen has passed. I remember when he took us on his boat, and to camp! What a great day! He will be missed. Dave and Michelle Schwerer
