Obituary For Stephen R. Simko

March 24, 1942 - October 7, 2017

Simko, Stephen R. Age 75, unexpectedly, on Saturday, October 7, 2017, of Whitehall, formerly of Ambridge.

Beloved husband of 50 yrs. to the late Irene R. Simko; loving father of Stephen R., Jr. (Julie) and Christine M. Simko; proud grandfather of Sarah, Nicholas and Jacob Simko; brother of John Simko, Jenny Mancini and the late Mary Curry. Stephen was both devoted to his family and his faith. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Panachida Memorial will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church (Homestead) on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10 a.m. The family will arrive at church at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to Alley Cat Allies, 7920 Norfolk Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814 or IOCC, 110 West Rd., #360, Baltimore, MD 21204.
