Age 90, after a brief illness on Saturday, November 28, 2020, of Venetia.

Preceded in death by Anna Mae Hyrb, his beloved wife of 61 years; father of Pamela Jean Cordon of McMurray and Steven John Hyrb of Beaver; grandfather of Stephanie Lauren (Patrick) Dittman and Christian Steven Hyrb; brother of Helen Dinkel. Steve, as was his wife, was very close to his nephew Barry Pavicic and his loving wife Jennifer Hart. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Steve was a hardworking, generous man, who opened his heart and home to all who entered. In retirement, Steve became a world traveler with his wife. He also honed his skills in stained glass making, wood working, and specialty crafts, and shared his creations with family. Steve loved his garden and shared his skill for preserving the harvest.
