Obituary For Steven A. Eiben

Age 58, unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, of Bethel Park.

Beloved husband of 28 years to Judy (Bowen); loving dad to Jessica (Michael) Golebie and Steven Eiben; cherished brother of Susan (Gregory) Hebrank, Paul (Carole), Sharon (Larry) Markle and Gerard (Jessica); brother-in-law of Terri (Matt) Sulecki, Tracy (Earl) Graff, Margie (Dennis) Kurlandski and Tim (Patty) Bowen. Also survived and loved by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors and many friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must adhered to.

    I was so sorry to hear of this tragic loss. I cannot imagine what you are all going through at this time, and I offer my sincerest sympathies and will be praying for healing for this great family. I will never forget one of the first times I met Steve, which was at his family's annual Regatta. I was kindly asked to "hold onto your sunglasses" as I was pulled out of my innertube and dunked in French Creek as an initiation for my first time floating with him. It is a great memory and I was treated like family for my entire stay. Truly a great person. I will be praying for all of you through this difficult time.

    Words cannot express the loss we feel. Remembering all the times we shared drinking, laughing and having fun. Having our first puppies (Chestnut and Chauncy) together our kids together the trips to Erie and so many other fun times. Allowing Justin to get his "Jessie fixes" LOL. Know that you are dearly loved and missed. Until we meet again....
