Obituary For Susan Getz

November 23, 1963 - January 11, 2017

Getz, Susan Age 53, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of the late Jeffrey D. Getz; stepmother of Monica Getz Zmuda; daughter of the late Raymond T. and Mary Ann (Shea) Sauers; loving sister of Marilyn (Kevin) McCarthy, Kathleen Sauers, Raymond T. Sauers, Jr, John M. (Karen) Sauers and Jill (Greg) Loeffler; also survived by her loving nieces and nephews. Susan was a long-time employee of the Century Square Shop-N-Save. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Saturday from 2 until the time of her blessing service at 7:30 pm.

    My dear friend Suzie, you were the strongest, toughest person I ever met. No one should have had to fight as hard as you, but only you could do it with class and a smile on your face. I will treasure the memories and the years we had so much fun together. And your smile and laughter will forever be in my mind and heart. I will miss you Q, but you will NEVER be forgotten.
