Age 100, peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2014 of Baldwin Boro.

Husband of the late Edith M. (Jones); beloved father of Linda (the late Robert "Bo")Chermak; brother of Bernie (Bill) Monge and the late Frank W., Jr, Al and Mildred; proud grandfather of Scott (Leigh Ann) and Shelby (Pam) Chermak; great-grandfather of Ashleigh and Carlie; also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Noon.     I am really going to miss you young man. I just want to thank you for making me a better person and allowing me to be a part of your long and wonderful life. It was always fun playing those games, whether it was "66" or lawn darts. We won't forget your famous words - "There are going to be some changes around here". Now that you have moved on to be with your loving wife, it is time for you to put those tools down, sit down and relax, and have a cold beer. Thank you "Ace" for everything. Rest in peace!
