Stolte, Sylvia M., age 85, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020, of Brentwood. Daughter of the late William H. and Helen M. Stolte. Sylvia was a lifelong member of Stewart Avenue Lutheran Church where she devoted her time to the choir for over 50 years. She enjoyed helping with the church rummage sales. Sylvia was a wonderful sketch artist as well as an avid reader. She will be deeply missed by her loving church family. Friends are welcome at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held privately. Due to the current health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stewart Avenue Lutheran Church, 2810 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
