Obituary For Teresa (Chilleo) Lancia

Age 90, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, of Baldwin.

Beloved wife of the late Richard; loving mother of Susan (Dan) Poeschl, Rick (Sandy), David (Annamarie), Carol, and John (Susan); proud grandma of Kimberly (Joe) Wyse, Ross (Heather Buchino) Lancia, Michelle (Craig) Lewin, Lauren (Dennis) Morelli, Alivia (Shawn) Faulk, David Lancia, Maria Lancia and Vincent Lancia; great-grandma of Joey and Gia Wyse and Vera Morelli; sister of the late Charles (Cecilia) Chilleo and Joseph (survived by Wanda) Chilleo. Teresa was an active member of Nativity Church Christian Mothers, the South Park AARP Association and spent many years as an election poll worker. Due to current capacity restrictions, services will be held privately for her immediate family. Arrangements by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, 412-881-4100. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 100 W. Station Square Drive, Ste. 1900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

    To Teresa's Family: Please accept my Deepest Sympathies - I know how hard this must be for all of you - I know how dedicated you were being there for her and how devastating it was not being able to since they stopped the visitation back in March and it was beyond your control (my dad, Jenio, passed away there as well back in August). I remember the smile on her face when I would see her with you. I wish there were words I could say to make this easier for you but I know there really aren't any-but may you find comfort in knowing she is truly at peace now, no ailments and no longer there as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to you for what you are feeling at this difficult time and for strength, peace and comfort in the days ahead. May she rest in eternal peace.
