Haniotakis, Thiresia A. Age 76, on Sunday, July 10, 2016, of Bon Air.

Beloved wife of 53 years to Anthony Haniotakis; loving mother of Steve Haniotakis and George (Amy) Haniotakis; beloved YiaYia of Joshua (Cait), Jenna, Stephen, Anthony, Nikolis, Michael and the late Selena Haniotakis; great YiaYia of Leo Haniotakis; sister of Helen (the late George) Kriovrisamakis, Irene (the late George) Polyvos, Mary (Robert) Brewer, Janna(Pete) Bilios and the late Stavros (survived by Xeni) Manouras; also survived by her stepchildren and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Thiresia, the matriarch of her family, will be truly missed. Her love for family came first, however being sure everyone was fed came in a close second. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m and Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. Trisagion service on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Visitation continues Thursday morning from 10-11 a.m. in All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
