Husband of the late Betty A. (Hindman) Fletcher; father of Bernard G. (Susan) Hindman of Youngwood, PA; brother of the late George Fletcher, Martha Swager, and Dorothy (Francis) Fletcher; grandfather of Scott (Cheryl) and Christopher (Karen); great-grandfather of Carl, Ian, Silas, Emily, Fletcher and Gabrielle. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Arrangements entrusted to John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Birmingham United Church of Christ, 25 Carrick Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15210 with entombment to follow in Birmingham Cemetery with full military honors.
