Obituary for Thomas J. Hannan, III

Age 72, on Friday, May 1, 2020, of South Park.

Loving father of Kathy Healy, Thomas J. Hannan, IV, Michael (Shannon) Hannan, Rhonda (Carmen Mascellino) Hutton, Amanda (John Oakes) Simoni, Kate (Troy) Conley, Jacob Hannan and the late Joseph M. Hannan; cherished grandfather of Jackie, Josh, Chelsea and Makayla, Chase, Bailey, Paul, Alexis, Kaliana, Olivia, John Jr. Madeline and Benjamin; great-grandfather of Dylan; brother of Linda (Wendell Chris) Haman and the late Michael Hannan. Also survived by his three nephews, Christopher (Mandy) Haman, Scott Haman and Thomas Haman. Thomas was a member of the Steamfitters Local #449, Mensa and the Masonic Lodge #454. Visitation, Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Westparr, 20 Bailey Avenue # 3, Pittsburgh, PA 15211 or Shatterproof, 101 Merritt Corporate Park, 1st Floor, Norwalk, CT 068514.

tom was my first friend in first grade , in our senior year he drove his farther car a dodge sedan the nuns requested a ride to Millvale, he was now driving a 1952 Ford convertible ,ragtop, they didn't request a return trip. We were young

I am honored and blessed to have known Tom. He was great with the kids and was hilarious! I always remember when he wanted you for something he yelled heey heey and you would go talk to him and he would start laughing and he loved to push everyone's buttons that' also made him laugh. I am really sorry! He was great and is so very missed!
