Obituary For Thomas Joseph Tallon

Age 92, of Baldwin Borough, on Monday, April 25, 2022.

Beloved husband of 58 years of Barbara (Knafler) Tallon; cherished and devoted father of Thomas J. Tallon, Jr., Patrick (Bona) Tallon, David (Victor) Tallon and Dawn (Roger) Williams; loving Grandpa of Blake (Kaylene) Tallon Williams and Isaac Thomas Tallon; great-grandfather of Kason Beck Williams; son of the late Patrick Joseph and Mary (Rooney) Tallon. Thomas enjoyed gardening, hunting, and bred beagles. He was an avid Steelers fan and devoted his time to coaching his kids in sports and was a Boy Scout Leader. He proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War. But most of all, Tom's true passion in life was his wife and family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m.

    My deepest condolences to the whole family. Tom was one of my dad, Frank dearest friends. Many memories of playing with beagles & the puppies as a kid. Rest In Peace Tom. Heaven gained a wonderful man.
