Age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 9, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Lynn Pagliei and cherished father of Alyssa Pagliei. Timothy is also survived by his brothers, cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Jane Pagliei. A loving, caring man, he would do anything for others and was a friend to all. He was known for his keen eye for detail, immense pride in his work and in being the very best heavy equipment operator he could be. Tim was especially proud of winning a dog show in his youth - his pet goat by his side - an anecdote he loved sharing with everyone. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 2-7 p.m. where a blessing service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to a charity of one's choice in Tim's memory. Streetwise Basketball under the light Throwing Paps Christmas bulbs on New Years Eve night Rufus the band on New Years Rockin Eve Chips Ahoy cookies and Neapolitan Ice Cream "Let's make a Whirlpool" swimming and Missy the poodle Sunday night dinners Swiss steak mashed potatoes not noodles Cardboard sled ride down the steps, no broken bones....We invented that way before "Home Alone." Squad 51, SWAT, Sunday Disney cartoons, Hee Haw, Lawrence Welk, Hey! Play that funky tune. Wedgies and Melvin's make you scream ouch "Super-Fly Snooka" off of da couch Thumb prints somehow in Nanny's chocolate Valentines treats Firehall carnival fish fry could never be beat I was called Punky because I was chubbie, what the heck is a space called a cubby? One day you all moved way up the hill, to a town they all called Old Finleyville With billiards and Ping Pong, darts thrown at the middle Horses that threw me out of their saddle Nanny and Pap they loved us all What did we do? Green Peas on Thanksgiving ceiling and walls. These are just a few of my Elrama recollections, old railroad tools and lanterns, part of a collection Of memories of which Tim, you were a part, my Pagliei cousins, with me, always, in my heart. Your cousin George March 13, 2026 Goodbye good friend Tim. I have a lifetime of memories from growing up together. Your wife and daughter and brothers have my deepest sympathy. March 13, 2026 Tim was a teenager when I knew him. I was his pastor back in the 1980s, and he was in the youth group at James Chapel United Methodist Church. We had a lot of great times together, along with his brothers, Al and Josh, and his mom and dad, Jane and Al. I regret that I can't be there today, but my prayers and love go out to Tim's family today, especially to Lynn and Alyssa.
