Obituary For Tom "Doc" Dougherty

Age 70, on Monday, June 14, 2021 of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of Mardeen; father of Frank (Candy) Dougherty; grandfather of Frankie and Tammy. Also survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Doc enjoyed motorcycling, boating and loved to karaoke. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held privately. If desired, family suggests contributions to Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Avenue, Room 1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

    Doc and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss him. He said I was his forever friend. His kind words and encouragement helped me through 5 surgeries last year. He showed me a side of him that was sincere, understanding, in love with life, and his humor! RIP my forever friend. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
