Obituary For Vera Jean Moore

Age 92, on Monday, August 17, 2020, of Whitehall.

Wife of the late James Moore; mother of Deborah (Gary) Gallagher, Barton (Darlene) Moore, Dayna (Ralph) Rodriguez, Hobart James (Kim) Moore, Sr.; grandmother of Gretchen (Peter) Vrotsos, Meggan (Andrew) Curran, Bridget (Thomas) Kelton, Joshua Trathowen, Hobart James Moore, Jr., Dr. Lindsey (William) Tremblay, Ashton Porter, Jordan Magyar (Robert Listecki), Erika Page and Andrea (Lance) Nguyen; great-grandmother of Jackson Kelton, Riley Curran, Donovan Kelton, Xoey Porter, Xailey Porter, Lyla Magyar and Lily Nguyen; daughter of the late Joshua Barton and Emma Ziegler; niece of the late John and Hilda Breinig, cousin of Sandra Ziegler Shanahan, sister-in-law of Ruth (the late Harry) Carew, Clarence "Bud" (the late Lois) LeJeune and the late Hobart and Eleanor Moore. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 3-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held onTuesday morning at 11:00. If desired, family suggests contributions to Lord's Pantry of Baldwin Community United Methodist Church, 5001 Baptist Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
