Age 90, peacefully at her home on Friday, February 11, 2022, of Whitehall.

Beloved wife of the late Charles J. Hess; loving mother of Margaret (Jeff) Sheaffer, Charles J. Jr. (Sandy), Dan (Dawn) and Paul (Amy) Hess; proud Grandma of Greg, Tim and Kathryn Sheaffer, Robert, Shawn (Angela), Danny, Dana and Jeremy Hess; sister of Rita Mae Herold and the late Donald Brown and Norma Raggles. Also survived by George (Mary Ann) Hess, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 11:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 12:00 p.m.
