Obituary For Veronica M. (Burksaze) Petrucci

Age 78, on Wednesday, February 13, 2024, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Petrucci; loving mother of Janice (the late William) McEver and the late Denise M. Petrucci, Robert R. Petrucci and Beverly (survived by Mark) Breisinger; cherished grandmother of Mark (Sydni) and Alan Breisinger and triplets, Jolynn, Brook and RaeAnn McEver; daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary V. (Bogacik) Burksaze; sister of Margaret (the late Joe) Zemba, Theresa (the late Jim) Gillece, Mary Harris, Frank (Louise) Burksaze and Andrew Burksaze. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memorials Processing, Memphis, TN 38105.

    Vicky and I became fast friends over the past 10 years. We enjoyed bingo, eating dessert first and taking leftovers home. I will truly miss her smile and our discussions. My condolences to the family.
