Medina, Victor M., age 60, unexpectedly after a brief illness on Monday, December 4, 2017 of Shohola, PA, formerly of Hoboken, NJ.

Victor M. Medina was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on May 17, 1957. At a young age Victor's family moved to Hoboken, NJ where he was raised into a young man. Victor left home to venture out on his own at the age of 17 and later served in the U.S. Army for four years. Upon his release from active duty, Victor had various jobs while raising his family. He decided to attend the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in December 1988 with a BS Degree in Political Science. He began his career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1992 and retired with 24 years of federal service in 2012. He enjoyed the past five years of his retirement with his beloved dog Chico who was with him everywhere he went. He also enjoyed every moment spent with his grandchildren Kamdin, Taylor, Peyson and Beckett.

Beloved father of Carlo (Erica), Victor M. and Sonya N. Medina. Proud pap to Kamdin, Taylor, Peyson and Beckett; brother of Nelson, Brenda, Maria, Sylvia, Isabelle, Janice, and Carlos. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements handled by John F.
