Beloved husband of Peggy (Crusan) Verdile; loving father of Tammy (Russell) Prosser and Rhonda (Charles) Wright; cherished grandfather of Ashley (Zach) Bozeman, Autumn Prosser, Justin (Julie) Wright and Josh Barnhart; brother of Barbara (Ken) Rey, the late Dominick and Michael Verdile and Dolores Gerst; uncle of Lynne Oncea, Kenny, Greg and Gary Gerst. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
