Obituary For Virginia A. Zeuner

September 7, 1925 - April 29, 2017

Age 91, on Saturday, April 29, 2017, of Whitehall.

Beloved daughter of the late Louis and Ruth Ackman; loving mother of Gretchen (Gary) Slack and Elisa (Bernie) Windstein; sister of the late Maureen (Edward) Rodgers, Richard Ackman (survived by Doris) and Douglas (Jeanne) Ackman; grandmother of Monica (Ed) Cromwell, Andrea (Chris) Robertson, Tracy (Len) Fowler, Natalie (Jim) Kruszewski, Elizabeth (Tom) Whiteford, and Sara (Joe) Kurzawski; great-grandmother of Andrew, Emily, Joseph, Alek, Nathan, Austin, Owen, Wyatt, Benjamin and Allison. Virginia's family would like to thank the staff of Whitehall Manorcare and Allegheny Health Network Hospice for their care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, May 2, 2017, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to a public television station of your choice, or the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1501 Reedsdale Street, Suite 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
