January 12, 1917 - November 7, 2018 Brewster, Wellington Ayer "Wally" Age 101, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Wally was born in Somerville, MA; he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Helen. He is survived by his two daughters, Marsha and her husband, Jim Wicker of Pleasant Hills and Susanjane Brewster of Methuen, MA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Beth (Anthony) Ravida, Christine (John) St. Clair, James McKeefrey and Gabriel Brewster; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Jack, Christopher and Devin. Also predeceased by his sister, Dorothy and her husband, Winslow MacElhiney and survived by the entire MacElhiney clan. Wally was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, serving during World War II as a navigator, and retired from the Clarkstown School District in New City, NY at age 55 so he could enjoy his retirement, and BOY did he! He loved to laugh, he loved his family and he loved his life. Friends will be received at the John F.
