My deepest sympathy to Pat, Steven, Ken and the entire family. I had many laughs working with Bill from 1975 until he retired from the Police Department and have many stories about "Dinger" (friendly nickname for the devoted fireman he was) that always brought a smile to my face. I enjoyed working and playing golf with him. May God be with you. Hit them straight and long on that eternal course my friend.

My sympathies to Pat, Steven, Ken and family. So many memories of patrolling Whitehall together. On golf, Bill always tried to convince me to turn my farm into a golf course, and he would always rate cars on how many golf bags you could fit into the trunk. He also absolutely refused to eat dinner before 6p.m. Rest in peace friend.

My condolences to the family. Some of my earliest childhood memories in Whitehall. My dad - Lamond J. Miller - was his friend and co-fireman in the early years. Lots of time exploring the Fire Trucks. He stopped at our house often. Michael J. Miller - Son #2 of Lamond J. Miller

I have known Bill since he pulled me over on Brownsville Road for speeding. As a former neighbor I always had a lot of respect for Bill and we remained lifelong friends. Always a gentleman and an all around nice guy. My sympathies to his family. Gone but never forgotten.
