Obituary For William James "Jimmy" Smith

Age 41, on Monday, August 31, 2020, of Bethel Park.

Beloved husband of Lori Ann (Wank) Smith; loving father of Wesley and Quinnlee; son of John L. (Penni) Smith and Lanette (Bill) Davis; son-in-law of Diana (the late Timothy) Wank; brother of Michael Smith, Kyle Smith and Whitney (Tyler) Kemp; stepbrother of Brett (Kimberly) Pinholster; brother-in-law of Steven Wank. Also survived by his grandfather, Billy Joe Smith and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jimmy was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky and was a Boilermaker with Union Local #154. Family and close friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, September 7, 2020 from 2-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held in the Chapel at 8:00 p.m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.

    I'll always remember our times together debating and talking sports . I'll always remember going to games and meeting you the first week I moved to pittsburgh when we both went to that BS school. I've stayed in contact with you for 13 years and it hurts to lose a someone I consider a close friend. I will forever think about you . I will do my best to help if I can in any way to look over you're children and wife the best I can. I will truly miss you and I love you Jimmy and hope you look over me and hope to see or feel you're presence again ! My sympathy goes to everyone effected! With Love, David
