Obituary For William N. Susan

Age 83, of Whitehall, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, passed peacefully at home.

Beloved husband of the late Anne Marie (Bird) Susan; proud father of Barb (Harry) Grosse, Jeff Susan, Mike (Judi) Susan, Beth (Chazz) Gitzen, Mark (Cheryl) Susan and Joe (Diana) Susan; loving Pap of Stephen, Leah, Adam, Jordan, Madison, Connor, Tyler, Kayla, Carmela, Natalia, Michael and Annie; cherished brother of Don (Karen) Susan, Carol (Bob) Hartner and the late Chuck Susan. Also survived by loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Bill retired from Action Housing where he was instrumental in helping many people obtain and keep their homes. You could find Bill at one of his grandchildren's sporting events, academic achievements or musical/dance recitals. More recently, he enjoyed daily lunches at Frisch's Caste Village with his friends. Bill will be remembered for his storytelling and his love of family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
