Growing up in Bethel Park, John graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2002. He attended Bowling Green State University and later, The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. John holds multiple insurance licenses as of 2018, and then in 2019 joined the family business as part of its 6th generation, specializing in Advanced Funeral Planning. In addition, John coached ice hockey for Bethel Park for several years and in 2016 launched Taste, a small charcuterie company with his wife, Tamara. John and Tamara moved to Canonsburg in 2021 and welcomed their first children (twins) into the world in 2023.
